King George IV:

King George IV was King of England from 1820 until his death in 1830. He was not king for very long, but he did start a new fad in footwear. His boots were not like anyone else at that time. The difference in his boots were copied and it is commonplace today, but at the time was very unusual. What was it?

Begin asking yes or no questions and I will post the answer to the question here.

In the News

Clipart of a newspaper; Size=234 pixels wide

When Americans first were given the right to vote for their president, very few people knew a lot about the people they were voting for.  Candidates relied on word of mouth to get them the votes they needed to win.

Since that time, things have changed.  On September 27th, 1960 John Kennedy and Richard Nixon took part in the very first televised debate.  This Thursday Senator John Kerry and President George W. Bush are going to begin their three night debate.

Watch some of the debate and listen to what the candidates say about issues that may effect you or your family.  How do their positions on the issues effect how you feel about the candidates.
